Jonah McManus (He/Him) is a doctoral student at Kean University, working to earn his PsyD in School and Clinical Psychology. His goal in therapy is to create a compassionate space where clients can show up authentically and grow. Jonah pulls from a number of approaches including acceptance based, compassion focused, cognitive, and behavioral as well as is learning about psychodynamic techniques. He is interested in using video games in both individual and group therapy as a tool to both connect with and help clients. Previously, Jonah has worked with people struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and eating disorders. He particularly enjoys working with individuals from the LGBTQ+ community. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing video games, and playing with his three cats.
